Do you enjoy working with children? Are you interested in a career in Early Childhood
Education (ECE)? Do you want to get a head start on your career?

As a registered apprentice, you may:
- Earn up to 12 units of College Credit in Early Childhood Education from Los Medanos College
- Earn money and gain experience in an Early Childhood Center
- Qualify for either a Child Development Assistant or Associate
- Teacher permit upon completion of the program
- Be prepared to enter Contra Costa County’s Grow Your Own Early Childhood Apprenticeship Program

3. Recommended by Counselor
